Nursery Rooms

We have three rooms here at King Edward Road Nursery. 

Tiddler room is our 0-2's  room, where the babies have their very own space to explore and play at their own pace. They have soft play corner, a black and white area, a mark making area and they also have their very own self contained outdoor space which they have free access to. The babies also have access to a small but cosy sleep area. 

Caterpillar room is our 2-3's room, the children have a wide range of areas and resources available to them including a role play, sensory, reading and small world areas. They also have a self contained outdoor space which they have free access to, which has a mud kitchen , small world, construction area and a reading den. 

Gruffalo room is our 3 + and Preschool room, the children have lots of opportunities in this room to free play with a wide range of resources and purpose built areas such as role play, small world, indoor sand pit, writing, reading and constructions areas. They have free access to the garden at the front of the building which has a purpose built mud kitchen, water play, reading den and construction area. 

All three rooms have access to the field over the road at Minehead middle school which has a sensory garden that we go to. Gruffalo's have been visiting the garden weekly to plant and care for their crops.
